Game Review: Sheep Collapse

-Ren-

Sheep Collapse is a game that is able to catch one's attention. In first glance you will have a statement similar to this:

"Is that Jenga?"

It is understandable for you to think such thoughts, But NO! It is not Jenga! nor are they in anyway similar in mechanics. The game is really good. The gameplay is well thought out and very enjoyable when played with others.

Sheep collapse is a board game that requires you to control one of four Sheep that is being attacked by a Wolf, Who wanted to be a sheep but is shunned by the Four sheep. Due to being Heartbroken and Angered by the Sheep. He swears to himself that he will destroy the houses that the Sheep have built for them to know how it felt to be in despair of having their dreams crushed.

The primary objective of the game is to have  the tallest house built through the blocks that you are able to obtain by moving you players piece. The player with the highest house wins.

The Sheep (The Players) are given 4 rounds to collect all the resources that they are able to harvest from the board. Each player is given is given 5 action points which makes the players decide carefully for they have a small amount of points to use in-game.

The players are given a chance to use a skill called "Sprint" which allows them to move 4 tiles while only using 2 action points which gives some players a great advantage if they want to farm more coins and blocks than usual. But it has a catch, A player can only use "Sprint" once in every 4 rounds making most of the players either to save it for later or push their luck by using it in the first 2 rounds of the 4 rounds.

The wolf (Can be used by all 4 players at the cost of their own AP) is the game device that lets people move the wolf away from their home for the safety of getting attacked at the 4th round. This in turn makes the game more enjoyable as it makes the game more intense later on when everybody starts focusing on destroying each others base through manipulating the movements of the wolf. Events such as the 3 of the 4 sheep ganging up  on one is inevitable as this can be a common events at this sort of game. I myself led an attack to a fellow sheep once. 3 of us ganged up on 1. Lets just say it took a few minutes to fix the friendship I had with the person. The wolf's attacks are controlled via Wolf cards. Card which control the damages of the wolf's attacks.

With enough coins that a player can collect through the board he/she is given a chance to buy Cards. Cards that have an effect to your house such as Rebuild, Protect and many more Abilities that will aid you in maintaining and building a proper house.

This game is a fun game to play and is very amusing to see your friends have slightly violent reactions to you while you make the wolf do a beeline to their house which signifies their hard earned work all through out the game. Sheep collapse is game the you must play with your friends if you want a friendly fight of sorts. To sum up all the things that I've said in this review, You need to play it and play it now! Fights have never been so friendly!
